A Typical Boy's Dream

                In this world, we all have different things that we want to have or to do. We call these things dreams, ambitions, or goals but for me, it just means one thing. Its just all about we want. These dreams vary from one person to another. We have various dreams. We might not know it but our chances and opportunities to achieve or complete our goals may be right in front of us.
                Since my childhood days, I have already thought of my ambition. I have already known what I want since I was a young boy. I have always wanted to be a basketball player. I can clearly remember how I played with my cousins. I got wounded a lot of times but I never give up. My mother didn't like me playing basketball because she was afraid that I might get hurt. I conquered all of those problems and now, here I am, part of a champion team in a summer league and also a member of our year level's basketball team.
                 When I was in elementary, I idolized my brother. He was so intelligent and I wanted to be like him. I always tried my best but always came up short. I felt sad about it but I also learned to accept the fact that he is better than me. I love myself for who I am and I dont care if there are people better than me.
                 Now, I am already contented with what I have but still, there is something that I want to do. I really love singing and I would love to share this talent. I also want to be an engineer. I am not aiming to do this for myself but to help my family.
                 This world is full of people. People who have different dreams, different goals. Therefore, this world is full of dreamers. I am not the only one who is a dreamer. Just do your best and your dreams might just turn into reality.
