English Class: A New World of Exploration

I am a student, I am supposed to be learning
But I never thought I could learn so much while enjoying
English, the subject that I have been loving
Now, it has been given a new meaning

When English class started, I thought I had learned enough
But since June, I have been thinking about new stuff
I am proud, because I really have been learning
Ive learned things that has changed my thinking

I never thought that I will be acting in school
Its something that I had though of, but its not cool
I have never wanted lots of attention
But my adviser has made me change my intention

Since July, we have been taking up our newest lesson
Its about verbs used by a simple person
Its something I learned since I was in elementary
Something i have thought is not necessary

English, a subject that I have loved from the start
I will be treasuring my English skills with all my heart
I have learned a lot and will learn so much more
And I cant wait to figure out whats in store.
