ICT: A Friend Inside a Foe

                      Information and Communications Technology or ICT, whether we notice it or not, it is a huge part of our everyday lives. We have been living in a world filled with so much ICT influence. 
                      Can you imagine this world without ICT? What if the technological innovations were not discovered? Indeed, our lives right now revolve around ICT. Even making this blog requires the help of ICT.
                      ICT is one of the greatest breakthroughs in the history of people. It has made the live of everyone easier. Through it, we have been able to do a lot of our works more efficiently and less effort is being exerted in our tasks. One big example is communication. In the early periods of humanity, people really struggled to send messages or information to other people who are in far places away from them. Through ICT, new ways and means of communication were developed. Cellular phones, telephones, and the internet are some of the best means of communication nowadays. Imagine if we still are yet to discover these communication devices. We would have to wait for days or weeks before we get a reply from a simple message that we sent. Isnt that annoying? Its really great that we could just communicate with everyone by just one click or one press of a button. It is really a great feeling that the whole world is at the tip of your fingers.
                       Aside from all the benefits that we get from ICT, we must remember the price that we might pay if we abuse it. Even if ICT is a great help and its functions seem to have no boundaries, we still have to know our limit. If we dont use it wisely, we might have to face the consequences.
